What We Collect

• Classification inputs — device name, description, and category you submit for classification.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and basic browser/device information collected through standard server logs or analytics tools.

Payment Data

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive, store, or have access to your credit card number or full payment details. Stripe may collect information as described in their privacy policy.

How We Use Your Data

• To deliver classification results and regulatory intelligence you request.
• To send regulatory alert digests and service-related communications.
• To personalize alert action items based on your device portfolio (if configured).
• To improve the service and understand usage patterns.

AI Processing

• Device classification uses rule-based analysis and does not send your data to external AI services.
• Regulatory alert analysis and personalized action items are processed using Anthropic's Claude AI models via their API. Data sent to Anthropic includes scraped regulatory content (from public government sources) and, when personalizing alerts, your device types and regulatory stages (not your name or email).
• Anthropic's data handling is governed by their privacy policy. Anthropic does not train on API inputs.

What We Don't Do

• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not use your classification inputs or device portfolio data to train AI models.
• We do not store payment card information — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.

Cookies

We use minimal, functional cookies necessary for the service to operate (e.g., session management). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data Retention

Classification data is retained to deliver and support the service. Email addresses are retained for service communications until you request removal.

Your Rights

You may request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@regmd.dev. We will process your request promptly.

Service Location

regMD is operated from Singapore. By using the service, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in Singapore.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the service or by email.
